Matt Golding drew this picture because he wanted Australians to pay attention to why the Australian Republican Movement has closed. (JJ)

People in the Commonwealth care so much about the Royal baby because in about 30 or 40 years he will be the King. (JW)

Australia is not trying to be a republic because the Royal baby is born. (DK)

The Australian Republican Movement store is closed because it has post natal depression. (CT)

The cartoon is saying that since the baby was born everybody has lost interest in being a republic. I also think that the baby has made 1 more in line for the throne.

The cartoon is saying that a lot of people are fussing about the royal baby because the news pole has the royal baby on the headline of every newspaper. The shop represents the people who want to make Australia a republic and they are very upset because no one is paying any attention to them. The royal baby is like the most important thing in a lot of people’s minds right now.

This cartoon is saying that everyone is paying attention to the royal baby, and the people that want Australia to become a republic are having a hard time because no one cares. On the shop window it says”AUSTRALIAN REPUBLICAN MOVEMENT, who do we want to be?” And at the moment, nobody wants to because nobody wants to. On the news stand all of the magazines are about Kate’s royal baby.

The Cartoon is saying about how the royal baby is making people have postal depression. When the royal baby is here noone wants to turn Australia into a republic.
